You are all very special to me, even though I do not know you! I do, however, claim you in my heart, and pray only for blessings to abound in such abundance that it will take all of the year to gather them all up!

 America Is.....
 

America is.... The hurting, the homeless, the abused,the lonely, the broken-hearted, The emotionally challenged, the physically challenged, the healthy, The infants, the children, the teen-agers, the young adults,the Seniors, The active duty, the retired,the disabled Veteran. People of all races and creeds, the working, the welfare recipients, the volunteers, The music, the written word,dance, sculptures,voice, education, Hills, valleys, mountains, rivers, streams,seas. The beasts of the land, the birds of the air, The crimes against society, The outstretched hands in times of turmoil, The places of Worship, the family, the Flag, Democracy, We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. One Nation, under God, with Liberty and Justice for ALL!! This is a little something I wrote for the program given to guests at my church's children's presentation in Sept.2,2006...but felt compelled to share it with you!

A little deviation from my first post! I know! I really am alive! So,please pick yourself up off the floor, get a cup of tea, and relax!

The title....Teen Abolitionist Leader of Growing Effort to End Modern-Day Slavery.
The summation is in my words...direct wording is in quotations.
"When Zach Hunter was 12, he learned about slavery and wished he could have lived during that time, so that he could free slaves." It seems that "he wanted to do something about the slavery issue of today."His quote..."maybe we could try to bring it about with God, because with God's help, all things are possible."
He has launched a growing movement called"Loose Change to Loosen Chains", based on Prov. 31:8-9. He speaks at conferences, schools, etc,and has a book published..."Be The Change".
"He is the student spokesperson for the new movie"Amazing Grace"; and has started a school wide money competition between classes."
" He wants his generation to be known as the "Peace and Love Generation". "Not like the 60's-without God", Zach says."
I subscribe to the Elijah List,who puts out the newsletter of current Christian news items.
I was tickled pink to see this...it gives us old folks room to ponder. And it made me happy to see that, even though these are the Last Days, that there is young blood ready to stand up for Jesus!

Hi to all in the Name of Jesus!
This is my first time ever in blogging,(I have a website...www.inhisfootstepsministries.net), but I started this site, also, in the hopes of reaching out and encouraging; asking and answering questions, listening and learning, and in general, finding new friends.It appears that "Blogging" is a lot more "Happening" than websites these days!!! But both of my sites work hand-in-hand, so I hopr you will seek out the website, as well!
My title says a lot.....these ARE the days of Elijah(for those who are aware of the Last Days). But it is also a year of Jubilee! By that I mean that all those who have stood for what the Bible says, will be recompensed for any and all sufferings up to this time...whether it be physical, spiritual or financial.
Been praying for a healing in your body? Look! for the answer is on its way! Looking for someone you love to come to know the Lord? Look! for the answer is on its way! Looking for a breakthrough in your finances? Look! for it is just around the bend!
